New San Diego law firm blends political, trial, and financial expertise
Former U.S. Representative Lynn Schenk has partnered with her brother, veteran trial attorney Frederick Schenk, and his son, Benjamin Schenk, to launch the Schenk Law Firm. With backgrounds spanning government, litigation, and finance, the family-led practice aims to advocate for consumers and clients facing physical and financial harm.
A former member of the U.S. Congress has joined with two family members to launch a law firm in San Diego.
Lynn Schenk joined with her brother, plaintiffs’ attorney Frederick Schenk, and his son, Benjamin to found the Schenk Law Firm.
“By combining our diverse experience and substantial resources, we’re uniquely positioned to advocate for consumers and protect our clients’ interests,” Frederick Schenk said in a statement. “Our commitment lies in supporting those who have suffered physical injuries or financial harm through no fault of their own.”
Lynn Schenk served one term in the U.S. House of Representatives, from 1993 to 1995. She represented California’s 49th congressional district, which encompasses coastal areas including La Jolla and Del Mar.
Frederick Schenk was a trial lawyer at the plaintiffs’ powerhouse CaseyGerry for 40 years.
While their family bonds form the foundation of the practice, the attorneys said their collective expertise sets them apart. Benjamin Schenk has a background in commercial real estate and hedge fund management in addition to a law degree.
Lynn Schenk served as chief of staff to Gov. Gray Davis after leaving Congress.
